Hello, and welcome to our family’s blog! I’m Brett, married to my husband Mason, and proud Mom to Landon and Michael.

I grew up chasing my seven younger siblings, reading, writing, and helping to run our family business. While I loved my life, I always knew I wanted to be a wife and mother, and I was counting down the days until I would meet Mr. Right and get started.

While I didn’t exactly see him coming, (you can read a little more about our relationship on the About page), Mason and I got married in January of 2018. We bought a house and settled down, and our son Landon arrived in November. 

As the oldest of eight kids, I learned a lot about parenting and homeschooling. And now as a wife and mom, I’m starting to put what I learned into practice. We plan to raise our children in the family business, and homeschool too. I can’t imagine a better childhood than growing up on the farm with lots of family around, and I’m looking forward to watching our children grow up to be little farmers! Between my family’s goat farm, and Mason’s family’s cattle, they have plenty of opportunities to learn to work hard and pitch in.
